The MLG Foundation Grant Application

The MLG Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a 501(c)(3) private foundation that focuses on Hunger, health and nutrition; Children and Families; Education; and the betterment of the Charlottesville community.  The Foundation provides grants to organizations with proof of 501(c)(3) status.

All applications will go through screening based on the following criteria:

    • (a) Achievability (30%): Is the project something that can be completed and measured within 12 months? Or if seeking general operating funds, can you report onachievement and use of funding.
    • (b) Positive impact (35%): How will the project make a positive impact? What enduring change will come from the project?
    • (c) Furthers Foundation’s Mission (35%): To what extent will the project further the Foundation’s mission? How does it further the nutrition, health and welfare of children, families and the Charlottesville community?

Final Notification of Grants Awarded

The Foundation will review grant applications 2 times a year. Grant Applications are due by July 1st, 2017 and November 1st, 2017. Grant recipients will receive notification by no later than six months after the receipt of the application.
